We are a small, private campground with spacious powered and non-powered sites available. 

Onukuhou Stream runs through the campground and the property borders the forest leading to Opoutere beach. We are in an isolated location, so keep this in mind when packing for your holiday!

The facilities are very basic, but clean and well maintained.


Rustic, simple cabins – steps away from the beach, amongst the pines.

Each cabin is comfortable and uncomplicated so your days can be spent lazing on the beach or exploring the harbour and surrounding forest.

You will need to bring all your own linen, including bedding & towels (beach and shower) A kitchen tea towel and a hand towel are provided. 


This is a 5-sleeper, self contained unit. It has all the basics (including microwave) in the kitchenette; plates, cutlery, cooking utensils, dishcloth, detergent, table and chairs. Plus own toilet and shower. This unit has a double bed in a seperate room, and a double bunk with a single over it in the living area.


Cabin 2 sleeps 3 and Cabin 3 sleeps 4. They are one room with double and single beds (or bunks), table and chairs, kitchenette (without microwave) and toilet with vanity. The cabin shares a shower with the people in the adjoining cabin - no need to go down to the main ablution block.
